Nice! Good location that too.

This is one my mate Pete did of us mucking about up Innerleithen downhill on the hardtails. I'm on the yellow one

Soundtrack not safe for work, but does make for an interesting insight into the mind of a 16 year old

Pretty cool Northy, though the music is... but extreme for me ha ha.

Im not sold yet on the "on the person" mounts, they always seem to be too, unstable. On the bike like in mine when you have the bike as a reference point, it seems easier to watch... Shame because on person view has great potential.

Drew, fork internals? What bike is it you have again?

I've a Specialized Pitch Comp. It comes with Rock Shox Pike's. However they are OEM versions with no adjustment etc. Only adjustment is rebound.

Had a chat with the nice folks at TF Tuned, for around £120 they will drop motion control in with lockout and floodgate etc and stiffer U-Turn spring.

Replacing the forks entirely is not an option, whereas IMHO upgrading (in this case) is money well spent, as will give me the full "Pike" as it should be - rated highly, rather than the stripped down version.

I'm not complaining, as I got the bike for £1k, so saved a bundle.....but I need better internals - have already had the forks compress to the minimum left. Would rather have some adjustability and springs that are stiffer.

Aye, I know all about all that. I have Domain 302's as spare forks. For about £80 I can get the compression unit off of some 318's and that will give me compression

You'll have to let me know how it goes with TF tuned, im thinking about using them for my Boxxers when they need a good look at... Only thing that holds me back is the postage... knowing my luck they will go missing

I quite like it, it's got more of a feeling of riding- when the camera's getting rattled it's because the rider is too. But yeah, I really like your framemount shot, I've got the kit for it but somehow I never actually use it.

Well finished video, though like a moron I only brought in the lower res version I made for my phone to work to upload (I cant upload at home at 1/4 meg when I have 100meg upload at work now can I!?).

So will probably pull that one down and put up the 720p version tomorrow.

Not really tried any other camera mount positions yet but will

Hope you like...

Cheer Liam glad you liked it!

Afraid its not locke park though, its Elsecar. Its almost all in Elsecar woods, so local to me (like 5 min ride) which is cool.

Seem to be fairly lucky where I am, plenty of woods and the transpeninne when I feel the need.
