Fell on the big descent, apparently his pedal dug into a wall and he came off.

But I haven't seen the footage, I was out when it happened on the Live coverage

Explains why it didn't record then. Not too fussed about missing that stage though! For some reason SKY+ does not series link the Giro highlights program.

BTW, spin was evil tonight. We had the lady instructor from Wednesday nights subbing in for Alan, she sits at the front with big grin looking sweet, sweaty and sexy - challenging you with a look to try harder while spinning away at an unimaginable cadence! Jeez average HR about 5bpm higher than usual, maximum heart rate of 95% MHR and in my anaerobic zone for over 15 minutes of 60 minute class. She's back next week, I can't wait!

As expected it was a neutralised stage, so you didn't miss anything, just the same as when Casatelli died and the team rode over the line as one, but they included Tyler Farrar join them, as he was his best mate.

Unfortunately I was editing the footage from stage 3 and I saw the footage, I wish I hadn't, as it was particularly graphic.

Then I looked down at him as he passed and saw he had one false leg :/ Damn'it.

Trying to ride to work at least once a week now the weather is better, a nice 12mile journey. Although now I've got a motorbike, this might suffer.

Found a few iPhone apps lately to report potholes etc. A handy tool after getting a puncture last week. Within two days the holes were sprayed up for repair. Not passed that way since so will be interesting to see if they've been fixed.
I'm not sure if replied to your post before or not...

Anyways I go cycling in the park as well, i'm actually very local to you. If you want to meet up for a cycle let me know, have you tried the Richmond Park challenge, i'm 8 mins off targert atm per lap.

Went out for a ride tonight on my normal 30 mile loop, got to the bottom of the Nant-y-Garth and realised I was going well so kept the hammer down. New PB for the loop, lopped 5 minutes off me time. Well chuffed.

Right! Just set myself a target for the summer to do the loop at a 32kph (20mph) average. Need to find an extra 1.6kph (1 mph) from somewhere.

Hello road cyclists.

Im thinking about getting a road bike. Seems like an interesting idea. Im not planning on going mental and spending even hundreds of £ on a bike incase im not too fussed. What im looking at atm is a reynold 531 from the 80's. Got to love the old school huh?

I have had a look at frame sizings, and tbh it varies alot or so it seems... Anyway, im 5'6" tall and have an inside leg of just under 30". Would a 22" frame be ok?

I doubt it, that would be 55cm frame which is big. My old Carlton in 531 was a 21" frame and on the big side. I have a 32" inside leg and am 5' 9" - reach was fine but cross bar / saddle height at the limit for me.
