Bit of photo whoring from me tonight...

A few of you on here know that I was having my Cannondale refinished after it started looking a little tired.
This is how it looked four weeks ago in the lake district:-

I started cleaning her down and took it a little too far.
Forks and shock went off for servicing and I bit the bullet and sorted the frame out.
I went to Bristol today to collect her, all wrapped up in two parts and headed off the the graphics guys to have the graphics made and applied.

Made a nice little twist on the graphics:-

The forks are here but after a **** up with the rear shock, it wont be here for two more days.
Still it gives me time to clean up the parts ready to go back on.

Currently looking like this:-

Happy doesn't do it justice!

I couldn't recommend both the finishing company and the graphics company highly enough.
I have kept their details if anybody needs them.
Frame mirror polishing cost £130 and is the same cost to satin polish or powder coat.
Two pack paint with a clear lacquer over the top of any graphics would have been cheaper but i wanted to be able to replace any damaged graphics if I needed to in the future.
I also had spare graphics made up for future use too
Gagging for Llandegla next weekend now

The first wet sandy ride and that is going to be looking like a brushed stainless bike lol.

You going to Llandegla this weekend coming? I may be going for a quick blast round friday night.

The group I'm going to the Alps with are doing a skills course on Saturday at Bob Campbell coaching which is just down the road. Then Sunday either riding at One Leap or possibly Snowdon Rangers path if the weather holds up.

My Zaskar never looked like brushed steel and was as polished as this

I know it will need a rub over from time to time and it will dull if its not polished but that's what I wanted.
I could of had it satin polished but if its going to dull anyway, why not go the whole hog?
Its more of a long term cosmetic thing anyway, now that the paint has gone, it wont chip and mark as easily either, most of my bikes have ended up looking hammered after a short while, this way, i can rub it over and freshen it up
