Thanks, turbo is still in the garage, I sweat to much to bring indoors.

I like the pic of this virtual ride up Ventoux.... the guy is walking! Hmmm he has a similar jersey to mine.....

(but I wore my Wales jersey for that ride, so it is not me!)

Anyone ordered from Bikeinn ?
Wife ordered a Garmin & was asked for ID, Passport or Driving Licence because of card fraud!
Cannot imagine anything more likely to make fraud easier.

From the limited google - apparently they are based in Spain. Never used them though. But they look ok.....couple of google searches found that previously they were not very responsive - but that appears to be early 2010.

If it was me - I would say, not providing ID, get money back and order from somewhere in the UK. But thats only because I cdon't like giving out my ID.

Nursing gravel rash, a bruised thigh and very sore thumb after a pile up in the group on Saturday We were out on a gentle leg stretcher before our little Christmas drink and review of the year. We had elected to stay on the main roads due to the icy conditions. After only three miles one of the guys hit a patch of ice and went down, taking six of us with him. All of us were bruised and battered but Dave, the first man down, was taken to hospital and now has three screws holding his hip together

Take it easy out there folks.

That sounds nasty Mike. For me thats my big fear of group riding, being taken out by somebody else.

Well if one goes down near the front, then one or two others may go down as well. Saturday took 5 riders out of 8 down as we were all on the ice by then and had no way to brake or steer out of trouble. I was one rider behind the first bike to go down, so I knew I was going to fall, so managed to go down 'gracefully' but landed heavily as the bike literally flew from under me.

Ohhh and it ruined me tights ducky!
