If you're talking MTB 26"x1.9" slicks, I've a set you can have for the cost of postage, old but plenty of tread left on them, pm me if you're interested.

These are the ones with a 3 point fixing, not the little MTB cleats?

I've got some Addidas Road shoes, which are really comfy.

But I'd go and try some on first, don't buy online, as they all tend to be on the small size when it comes to sizing.

I need 2 sizes bigger in Shimano shoes and Sidi. One size up in Addidas.

Wiggles DHB shoes always get a good write up and aren't expensive

Yes mavi the crappy ones to walk on.
I have some Northweave winter shoes with those cleats which are absolutely outstanding, but sooo warm probably a bit too hot for summer.

We'll just go and try some on, you've got Evans at Lakeside which have a good (but expensive!) range or Decathlon next door.

I like Sidi's but they are far too expensive these days and my Addidas are comfy all day. They only cost £44 from an EBAY shop, and I took their advice by buying one size bigger.

I want a carbon soled pair of shoes, but other things are higher priority at the mo

Carbon soled shoes would be nice but I don't think I'd get much benefit at the minute

We'll the DHB ones are only £85 and you would have trouble buying a normal pair of shoes for that money, so a bargain.

Plus with Wiggles regular discounts you can pick them up even cheaper

But not an essential purchase

I've got carbon and none carbon soled shoes. TBH I cant tell the difference performance wise between the different pairs.... I dont think you are missing much by not having a pair IMHO.

Aye, that's why I'm in no rush to buy some, I'll wear the Addidas ones out first.

Thats why I did, I've pretty much killed my Northwave's with the non carbon sole, I'm using them for Winter / wet day shoes now. As my Carbon Soled Mavic Zellium's are yellow and the show the dirt really badly... ( yes I am a tart ! )
