Just pulled my bike out the garage and fitted some nather PIMP white road bike grip tape, looks cool, just ashame it won't last

Aye my mate was quite keen on doing the DH course at Fort William, but I think we've managed to talk him out of it!

The new red run should be open by then, it's supposed to be gravity-powered XC... Or downhill for the sane, is how someone else put it

The pads are dead on Liz's MTB. So I need to fit some new brake blocks to it.

It has V Brakes on it, anybody got any pad recommendations.

I run KoolStops on my road bike so was just going to get some of those that will fit the V brake setup. Unless anybody can recommend anything better ?

That reminds me Northy, there was a good feature on Guy Martin in an issue of Dirt magazine that I read about a week ago (had a sneaky read in WHSmith and then bought Singletrack mag! ). If it's the current issue it might still be on the shelves - worth a read

Used them on my GT Avalanche back in the day , they were quite good and so were the standard Shimano pads but they were a tad more expensive
