I think if someone had entered on one, they would have had a good chance!

Looked bloody tough.

On a side note, does anyone know anything about Orbea's?

Robchester, I dont know alot about Orbea's but they do look bl**dy gorgeous in the flesh, I've seen a couple and I wouldnt mind adding one to my fleet of bikes.

My dad has one and it is a really lovely looking bike, he won't let me have a go though so I can't tell you how it rides. Having followed him though the thing is silent, by comparission to the Giant he gave me althought this is down to the groupset right, he swears by shimano.

I have a mate with an Orbea Orca - lovely bike with Campag groupset. Trouble is that it's as noisy as feck when freewheeling. Really loud and does sound like an orca (killer whale), so that's prob how they came to name it.

Campag freewheel, known for being noisy, I dont fully understand why, something to do with the way the pawls are setup in the rear cassette. You get the same thing with Fulcrum wheels as well.

The lower-end (circa £2.5k) Orbea bikes did well in the CyclingPlus BOTY awards a couple of months ago

Christ, lower end at £2.5k! I was looking at their entry level Aqua model at about £700!
