If you can fit commuters do, if it's a temp option for a lightweight bike of race blade longs, purely for the ease of taking on and off if you don't like mudguards or the extra weight

The way the weather is, the mudguards will be staying on for a long time

Yes

They are designed for bikes with little clearance and they do take a little time to fit the first time but after that once you have them adjusted they are OK.

I had one bike though that no matter what I did they just didnt fit right and rubbed. But I think that was down to the geometry of the frame.

They fit fine on my LOOK and dont rub and they do a great job of keeping the crap of.

There's a video on the crud site that has a fitting guide. The one tip I would say is dont do the zip tie up that wraps around the brake bolt really really tight. Do all the bolts up first and get them lined up and then just zip the tie up so that its finger ish tight. If you tighten it to much it distorts the shape of the guard and thats what makes them rub IMHO.

Hey! Thanks for the replies and the promptness of them as well!! I'll trying tweaking them again 2moro to see if I can get a better fit. Think I'll also email crud products and let them know my thoughts on their product.

I've got a pair of the crud stuff, they don't rub but occasionally (after being knocked) require adjusting.

I didn't fit them - shop did it for me for free so all in all I avoided a lot of the hassle.

Never taking them off my Moda as they're great for riding whether damp or not ,and so light they barely make a difference.

My road race 2's snagged off my toe and wrapped around the front wheel... never ridden with guards since.
I'm the exception to the rule though they're supposed to be generally very good.

mine did this too, but I left the rear one on as that's where worst of the carp comes from.

They have great coverage, they are removable and sturdy, they also have a cool fitment under the brakes that works on bikes with very little clearance

They won't work with marathon plus tires though as they hit the mount on the front fork below the caliper if you have less than 20mm clearance
Fitted a set of these last night, 15 minute job piece of pi$$, good coverage, very impressed.

I assume you mean you fitted sks's? And you mean they were easy to fit?
