Yes, you won't find anything cheaper to do a multitude of different torque settings

I didn't find it, it was in my daily 'Hot Deals' alerts

I went out today as it wasn't raining and managed to to drop the bike after the back end went and then the front round a 90 deg farm lane. Good news is the aldi winter gear stayed in one piece and other than a few bruises all is well.
The road was just wet and I wasn't expecting it to be as greasy as it was. I don't think it help I had some skinny summer tyres on .
Nice to be out and riding! Stay safe peeps.

I nearly got caught out earlier this year in a similar fashion, going from a main road to a side. Just a bit greasier than it looked. That was on my winter bike with 25mm Gatorskins, which were near to replacement time.

I'm currently riding around on my 'Handsome Dog' gravel bike, which is on 35mm 'Cross' tyres.

They're not running at max pressure, because I'm going off road on it, its great fun & I haven't had any slippages, but I'm taking it easy on the corners.

It was very icy in Essex this morning, we delayed our ride until 10 and stuck to salted routes ....things were still a bit iffy in places, you probably hit some black ice ....I got caught out last year, looking at the surface after coming off it just looked wet there's no way to tell.

It's definitly best to run 25mm's this time of year, IMHO Conti GP4S give the best winter grip and run at at 5psi less than summer, I'm 79kg and run 90 front 95 rear this time of year. Hope this helps.

yep there was broken ice around.. shouldve changed my wheels to the contis. Real shame as I have been itching to ride and test out my new legs .
Was interesting for the rest of ride as I felt like riding a penny farthing on skis round every corner.. going to need a bit of reprogramming before I go out next.

Yes, be careful. One of my mates at work fractured his pelvis after a crash recently.

It wasn't due to ice, but I think falling heavily at slow speed is probably worse than sliding off at high speed

Need advice boys!!

I have moved house () and no longer have my massive garage to staore all things two wheeled (). The Viffer is safely ensconced at a friend's house for the winter but my push-bikes are in a storage unit and not being used.

So I need a cheap but sturdy small shed to store two bikes in. I plan to build a garage and extension so long term storage will be taken care of, I just need something for the next 10 months or so. Something like this http://www.tesco.com/direct/billyoh-...skuId=302-1791 would most likely work or a similar plastic one. If I buy new then it needs to be re-saleable but second hand would be fine too.

Any suggestions? Ideas I've not thought of?

Keep your bikes in the bedroom and put the Mrs in the shed
