Looks like I'll be rebuilding my bike for the Hills...
Thats what I told my wife about my Wilier

Hmm, scratch that

Turns out the seller is a c*nt who'd renege on an agreed sale for the sake of an extra pair of tenners selling parts separately

Oh well, the search continues for a light, cheap FS XC frame / forks

Perhaps I should start scouring eBay for some upstanding sellers who aren't tw*ts...

I have one of these frames (not this exact one), a lot lighter compared to my old Raleigh MTB

http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/product/101739.html

Just swapped parts over, has disc mounts if I wanted to upgrade.

Got some carp forks from Decathlon, which I'll change at some point, but even they had disc mounts to

Was on the lookout for a full sus job if I'm shelling to upgrade tbh

Have a Mongoose Amasa Comp at the moment and it does the job just fine, but would be nice to have a little bounce in the back while maintaining the same overall weight

I have now reclaimed my bike..... (drew having got one on friday he has given me mine back)

my crosstrail sport

I haven't been out on it in ages and currently can't find the motivation to use it to commute to work, 5 miles all up hills! When I have used it for work would take me 40 mins to get here and 25 mins to get home.

I want to get some tryes for off roading as currently they would not stand up to anything other than a dirt track!

Did you know that if you bend the wheel you can straighten them by putting them in a freezer?

Or so I remember reading this somewhere
