I'm really starting to wonder about myself...
All the colour schemes I like are ladies bikes.

This Cube is prime example. I love the colour scheme. I did the same in Dales the other week all the bikes I liked the colours of were womens...

I was doing the same with running trainers when in America. Kept picking up ones I liked then wondering why they were tiny sizes...

I also really like the look of that bike, maybe us Weedgie types aren't so manly after all.

On another note spotted this earlier: https://www.gumtree.com/p/bicycles/b...me-/1152610947

Pretty decent bike for that sorta money, though he says it is a 2012 bike but I am almost certain it is a 2010 with new wheels!

I am reasonably tempted, it would likely fit and it is a good bike. Nicely at the 8kg weight as well and by all accounts the only thing wrong with them was the wheels, which have been upgraded.

But! It's not really what I am looking for and I reckon I am better saving for a couple of months at least...

Great price, can't figure why its got Askiums on it, as they weren't standard, i think they came with Ritchey wheels?

Yes, upgrade wheels to something lighter and more fitting to that frame. New bar tape!

Probably new chain and cassette if it needs it.

Yeah they did come with Ritcheys but they apparently weren't too good so a lot of folks changed them (failing hubs etc). Looking closely though it looks like it has internal cable routing, hard to tell, which would make it a 2012. But the 2012 came with Shimano gears, weird.

Either way it looks very good value, even if it is a 2010 frame, so I am going to go have a look. Justifying it along the lines of knowing I could sell it for the same or more after the summer, it will be more than good enough for me this year and the frame is worthy of upgraded bits!

Will let you know if I abuse mt bank account some more soon!, cheers Mav.
