It was born from necessity. I was having trouble keeping my weight up so I'm into a high calorie brew first thing in the morning, but barely started when I'm walking out the door so it comes with me. Knocking it over out on the road settles a lot better than guzzling before leaving... breakfast when I get back then another brew. I do a lot better with that morning shot than without.

The Blender bottle looks like the best bet atm. Maybe a bottle cage will take it maybe not.

I don't use stuff like that. I'm still at the Robinson diluting juice or fresh fruit juice and Haribos stage of my nutrition.

On a different note does this look OK to be used with the new toy?

Talking new toys. When does yours turn up Matt?

Only use that with the clamp around the seatpost, not on the frame.

ive got an Aldi one, but i dont use it much, as the clamp isnt the best. I'm probably going to get one that holds the bike by the front fork, without the wheel and BB sits on the middle of the stand.

just wondered why not the frame.. by the same token is it not advisable to hang the bike on the back of a cycle carrier on a car. I stick mine in the car as I'm pretty sure my bikes werent designed to travel at 70 mph down a motorway I wince when seeing posh carbon on top of a car hurtling head first at 70 +.

All too easy to overtighten the clamp, or put pressure on thin carbon frame tubes. I've used mine just to rest the frame in, but not clamp it in place. Compared to a frame a seatpost is far cheaper & made of stronger/thicker dia tubing

Ok with alloy, steel or Ti

Careless is getting a carbon frame, so best practice to start with

gotcha.. phew... yes i let mine rest in between the clamp and slide it along to find that point of equilibrium.

Randomly just saw this:

Dunno if it's a good deal or not, and it's a little bit away from ya Dean.

Although its a good price, I'd not recommend that one for carbon frames, the clamp is even narrower that the other one and you can't clamp around the seatpost. I know the frame is resting on the stand, and the clamp isn't putting much pressure on the downtube, but the tubes are really thin in those locations.
