A bit yes, I know what I'm doing now and am not faced with riding a frame that I dont trust anymore.

Had a chat with one of the sales guys about what I want and another drool over the Look I've been looking at

He said it would be a decent upgrade from what I had, the only caveat that the geometry might not suit my body shape, but theres plenty of other options as it would be easier to tell you what they dont stock, rather than list what they do !

Jealous of all you cyclists getting out and about, my logistical lameness is limiting me getting out on the push iron. Fingers crossed for next week, I need to get some saddle time for September, the running is coming on fine, but the cycling is a little behind.....

So I have the drivers insurance details who hit me. Arrived yesterday in the post, rang his insurance company last night. Who have me logged in their system as wanting to make a claim and are supposedly ringing me back...

I have a report from the bike shop saying my bike is BER and a price to replace it with something of equivalent spec of £2300.

Fingers crossed the process goes smoothly. When the guy from the insurance company asked me what happend and I told him. He said oh dear. I then told him the police were prosecuting the driver, he said oh dear again, then I told him that the driver had admited fault at the scene he said oh dear again...

Will keep updating this thread if nobody minds, just to keep a track of when I spoke to whom etc etc.
