Thanks LuckyPants, I'm never going to good or quick and so an out and out TT bike is probably overkill.

I dont like dedicated TT bikes they just look wrong to me, particularly where the seat tube is curved around the rear wheel, the lines of the bike look wrong.

That spesh isnt nice either. but apparently is faster in trials, with riders going faster for the same amount of watts generated compared to the Tarmac that they pro's are currently riding.

I think my mind is made up. This is pretty much what I am going to end up with, with either 105 or ultergra and I am swaying towards ultegra at the moment, But would have black saddle and bar tape. White is a bitch to keep clean

My Kirk is white ! I was reading somewhere the other day where somebody suggested it might become or is starting to become a design classic. I keep toying with selling it but I cant bring myself to part with it.

So thats another nights cr*ppy sleep, my ribs are still sore but my back / shoulders are getting better.

I havent heard anything from the other parties insurance company ( surprise ) I think I'm going to phone a solicitor that specialises in dealing with cycling accidents on Monday and get them on the case, I have a feeling its going to drag out otherwise...

Yes, I'm sure it will become a classic, even if its white

I used to join the CTC every year as their legal cover was very good, mines lapsed, but I must get some type of insurance, just in case.

Ditto on the insurance going to sort that out on Monday. Jut getting pee'd off that I havent heard anything, figure getting a solicitor involved, might give them a kick up the ass to get it sorted.

I know its just frustrating that I havent heard anything, I could go and buy another bike now and stick it on my credit card but I dont want to till I know I am going to get that money back, which I am not sure of at the moment.

I'm going to get the fixie out swap the pedals on it, and switch the flip flop hub around onto the freewheel and go for a little ride next week and see how I feel. I can see my training time slipping away for the Tour of Wessex...
