The weather is looking quite good now . . . pitty i really wanted it to rain all weekend . . . im not so good when its seriously sunny . . . but i went on the local weather and it said were going to have some serious storms on saturday so that might make for fun times . . . i think the headliners this year are so pants . . .

Yaaaaaay, just about to start packing, leaving first thing in the morning. Can't wait to meet Paws and all you other lovely people.

Won't be able to access the internet now so the next time we speak will be at Download!!! Paws, if you could just drop me a little text to let me know when you're there and i can let you know how far away i am. This is going to be sooooooooooooooooo cool. Haven't packed at all yet. I'm in Leeds tomorrow so will have to do it tonight, yikes!!!

A CHALLENGE!!!

Last year at download they had a games area.
Think Gladiator where you stand on a raised pedestal and are given a large stick with a club on either end and have to fight someone on a pedestal opposite.

None of my mates could get me off and I think it's down to the biking and the balance that comes with it.

As there are a large number of bikers going I think it would be a fun little challenge while the crap bands are on

I'll personally buy the winner a beer

Saw the bit about Wembley Stadiums first concert.
Looks good for Metallica in July.

Didnt watch mcr, went and squeezed into the 2nd stage to see korn, iron maiden rocked, stone sour were brill!, evenescence played a great set, within tempation had to cut their set really short (booo!), enjoyed it, it was my 6th year there (inc ozzfest) so im kinda vetran at this now lol

I had the most amazing time. Was cool to meet Paws and Dangerousquietone. Stone Sour were so amazing and like Paws i didn't bother with My Chemical Toilet, i went to watch Korn rip the place up. Marilyn Manson was great and so were Linkin Park (2nd time i've seen them and they rock!). I crowd surfed my way out at the end of LP cos it was so rammed. Got a few bruises but also got a bit of a tan so i'm chuffed. Hope your sun sizzle gets better Paws. Looked really sore!!!

Was brilliant, had an awesome time.
Arrived a bit late on friday so didn't manage to catch any of the bands.
Saturday started off well, i thought the first band (finnish? battle metal?) was great. Next few bands were ok but nothing special.

Machine Head and Slayer were good, Manson was a good show as always. The big decision was always going to be Linkin Park vs Motley Crue, we chose Motley Crue and it turned out to be a winner. The set was awesome, the band were awesome, the on stage antics were great, Just an amazing show.

Sunday was great too, with some good performances all day long. Stone Sour were brilliant playing a great set and really amping the crowd up.
Killswitch and Evanescence were both good, but nothing compared to Iron Maiden. As expected they produced an amazing set and a great show.
