Was funny to see they had a "Hair Saloon in a trailer" parked at the festival last year and there were more emo guys going to get their hair and makeup done than girls

whats an EMO ?

EDIT

Genre of softcore punk music that integrates unenthusiastic melodramatic 17 year olds who dont smile, high pitched overwrought lyrics and inaudible guitar rifts with tight wool sweaters, tighter jeans, itchy scarfs (even in the summer), ripped chucks with favorite bands signature, black square rimmed glasses, and ebony greasy unwashed hair that is required to cover at least 3/5 ths of the face at an angle.

We used to take the p1$$ out of glam rockers.............then goths................now its EMO's ?

Don't forget, it's no longer Monsters of Rock or Ozzfest Hence the last years EMO band explosion and the appearance of the Prodigy (as much as I love 'em!!)

I definitely want more decent bands confirming before I commit any cash to it and those frigging expensive bars

In my experience the EMO crowd seem to be mostly made up of the kids that THOUGHT Goth was all about being suicidal and depressed, when they turned up at Goth gigs and got laughed at for telling everyone how much they wanted to die they went away and formed EMO instead.

(In other words I consider EMO's to be Goth rejects)

EMO is short for Emotional.

Although rumour has it that they're breaking up. What with Chris Cornell releasing a solo album this year. No tour to support the Revelations album and a RAGE comeback concert...

Do they have to tour off the Revelations album?
Would be nice but they may want a break from touring and each other.
