Although rumour has it that they're breaking up. What with Chris Cornell releasing a solo album this year. No tour to support the Revelations album and a RAGE comeback concert...
Do they have to tour off the Revelations album?
Would be nice but they may want a break from touring and each other.
Maybe, but I reserve the right to say told-ya-so

You can talk about "emo" as if it means something, but My Chemical Romance have more in common with classic rock than with most bands that get that label... If their last 2 albums had come out in the mid-90s they'd have been lumped in with the Wildhearts, Therapy?, bands like that. Thunder, even- I know Luke Morley's a fan, he tried to get them onto the Thunder/Monsters of Rock tour after the Wildhearts pulled out but they were already too big to play beneath Thunder. The only thing they've really got in common with the more typical emo crowd like fall out boy is a fanbase. They're not even that miserable, lyrically or musically.

Not saying that everyone's judging them on their looks and their fanbase... But I bet you a pound some of yez are. They weren't up to much at Reading last year either, if anyone's thinking "I gave them their chance..." Not a good performance at all, apart from the bottle-doding at least.

Just thought i'd update this thread. More acts confirmed:

SLAYER (Kewl!)
MARILYN MANSON (Yay!)
WOLFMOTHER (Saw these guys at Hammersmith and they were awesome!!!)
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE (Suuperb!!!)
BRING ME THE HORIZON (.........Who?)

For my 2p worth, Linkin Park were awesome at Leeds a few years ago. We'd gone to see Metallica headline on the Friday night but they were absolute pants. LP rocked with the lead singer of Staind on the Saturday night though. Great preformance. Would love to see them again.

It's getting better quickly now. Slayer are amnazing live when they have the right crowd. I'd love to see Korn and Motley Crue too.
