Total for the repair to the bike... £30 for new gearbox + £3.95 for the left handed thread crank bolt.
£33.95

which puts the quote of £1000.00 + vat to shame.... as they (cannot name) wanted £300 quid for brand new gearbox and £700+Vat for labour.

Wow, how did you guess, only went in there for a look see, and got chatting to a slick sales person, I asked how much for a trade in on the SV for an Aprillia RSV Milli R... 2001 model,
before I got an answer he was marking paper work and asking me if I had id and as If I was going to buy the bike there and then.
Whoa... there it needs a little repair, namely the gearbox replacement, so off he scurrys and gets details of price to fix it...
Good bye, I said.

I'm thinking of a word which begins with 'W' and rhymes with 'Spankers!'

Told ya, I wouldn't buy a bike of that bunch of muppets if they were the last dealership on the planet

What do you expect if you go shopping for bike repairs at Marks & Spencer.
