If it was as it appeared; guy walks down the bus mutters a remark and old bloke pulls him on it then gets a load of attitude from the guy then he was quite right to stand up to him imo, he didn't start the violence - he moved away. The other guy smacked him and got stung.

I don't suspect mr epic beardo was being racist as the black girl videoing seemed pretty gleeful at the dude 'leaking' infront of her.

The way I see it, it's irrelevant. A slanging match and a fight are 2 different things. Having a good old vocal confrontation is perfectly legal and I don't much care who started it.

A fight is different, and attacking someone is not excused by whatever they said to you before. This much is on the video.

To put this to rest i'll enlighten you all as i nerdy and follow these things more than most members.

Epic Beard Man(EBM) is actually called Thomas Bruso or known as Vietnam Tom or Tom Slick.

It started when EBM misheard the black man saying something and thought he offered to shine his shoes. He then asked the African American(AA) how much it would cost to shine his shoes. The AA then thought EBM was racist and starts running his mouth. EBM then states that he misheard him and says that not only Black people can shine shoes but anyone, hence the china man comment in the video. Again in the video you see the AA claiming to break his foot off in EBM's ass which EBM happily denies is possible. EBM then moves to the front of the bus because he wants to avoid a confrontation again seen in the video and the rest you know.
