You can get the ABM comfort kit which Org members can get 15% discount for using my code on 998cc.com ..... another one I have heard is using the clip-ons from a Honda NightHawk , these have about an extra inch of rise over the SV ones , best bet is to search eBay on a worldwide search as I think the NightHawk was a US model . There are also Helibars , Gilles adjustable Clip-Ons and LSL also do clip-on kits as well .

I knew if I looked hard enough I could find the info I needed. I am not enjoying the Low bar position on my SV and am thinking of a riser bar so this thread has been wonderfully useful. Now off to scour the net for Helibars because if I am honest, I have no idea what they are!

I still have the set of FJ1200 clip ons in my garage and if I ever get my GSXR front end, I will also have a set of LSL high rise clip ons for SVs, which I won't need.
The FJ clip ons are near identical in height to the LSL's, but a 1/3 of the price. All they need is a hole drilling and tapping in the right hand one to mount the brake master cylinder.

I have the FJ1200 bars on my curvey.
Be aware that they are not a direct fit, there's not enough clearance to get round the top yoke, but being forged steel risers they can easily be ground to get the clearance and still leave plenty of meat. I fitted them swapped left to right, the FJ bars are marked L&R, to get a better position. You need to drill the holes for the switchgear, and I welded a small tab on the right hand one and drilled&tapped it for the brake fluid reservoir. I think the brake line is about 30mm longer than stock IIRC. Other cables etc fit fine. Make sure you get the FJ bar ends with them, they are totally different to SV weights. The riding position is vastly improved IMO, much easier to use in town. ![]()
