this is why i carry a spare visor or screenys, could be worst, have a bird it you then the flys hit you ok i havent had than many but more than ralph :P

I ride around with my visor open most of the time. That would have been extremely bad news.

I've had similar scary moments going into shady bits under trees that were hiding swarms of the buggers. The temptation is always a little wipe of the finger isn't it?

The rumour is that midges will be somewhat reduced in number this season due to the frequent cold spells this year running right up til about a fortnight ago.

21C today here though so hoping we're lucky for GM3!
