I played the demo and thought the handling was quite good , especially getting it sideways in the wet , have a sneaking suspicion that it won`t be like that when you first start off and you`d have to make adjustments with the twiddly bits .

WSBK 08...well, i've played the demo (all help off, manual etc etc) and I like it, it feels quite natural to me as a racing game. But it is a bit bland, a bit boring...in these days of Toca Race Driver / Grid, gran turismo etc etc, I expect a racing game to have more than one mode for it. Why can't they throw in some other championships? Superstock and supersport maybe?

I like the game, but it dosn't have longevity IMO, so I won't be buying it.

everyone's added had a wierd power down thing last night where all the lights went off & couldn't be arsed sorting the internet out.

I was proper crap at sbk08 when I first played it but I did the tutorials last night (took about 5-10 mins) and it helps you recognise braking points, throttle control etc... it's not like your average car game where you can thrash it everywhere without really thinking about it.

we'll have to find the common denominator and get an org competition going, be it halo, forza, cod4 or ping pong

Yeah Im always getting messages coming through from other players offering to help me stay alive a bit longer, pretty embarrassing really, they are usually 14 yrs old yanks or scousers tbh, I really need to grow up you know.

Thinking about getting SBK08 and Too Human. Which way should I punt guys?

Download the demo of Too Human, see what you think. There's a stupid plot, apparantly, and the game has little depth. SBK08 is annoying to play, the bikes feel farrrr too heavy and don't give you feel like the cars in Forza 2 do. I'd go for CoD4 if I only had Forza 2, or maybe a game like Skate, that has a lot of replay value.
