Just bought Gears Of War 2 , switched 360 on to download the map packs and 360 squeeled and crapped out graphics all over the shop ....... she`s gone and bloody died on me with no red rings and the Xbox site says she is out of warranty .

when my machine knacked with the RROD i rang customer support and they told me my machine was more than 12 months out of warranty ( 3 and a half years old ) but they were'nt bothered they just fixed it anyway, the lad on the phone said the warranty did'nt really matter as microsoft knew they were rubbish inside lol.

This isn`t a RRoD , graphics card seems to be misbehaving , I will try "GAME" first as they sometimes swap a machine out with no quibble , if I get no joy there then it`s over to microsoft . RRoD is covered by 3 years warranty , everything else is the usual 1 .

Guys, buy Fallout 3, its ace

had fallout 3 in my hand today but got gow2 instead, good but not much improvement from first one. Will probably trade it on once done. Only question is what for, fallout3, fable2, farcry 2 or James bond. Decisions decisions, only prob is I can only justify 1, oh cod5 already ordered.

Was wondering if using a wireless connection from my router would cut down on lag as opposed to using 10 metres of cabling when playing COD4 or am I just crap ?

Oh yes. I liked the previous games a lot and have been looking forwards to this for ages (contributing factor to my getting a 360). Started playing it last night, it is excellent.

Sainsburys have it for £29 too!

I tried playing COD5 beta the other day. I was on it about 10 minutes and was killed possibly 30 times. Theres just too many serious players on there, it should be gauged by skill level as mine is most definitely amateur.
