I got the Elite so got the 120Gig HDD. Dead Space took 6gb's on the HDD and I think Halo3 was about 7.5Gb's. Should get about 10 games with plenty of room left for other goodies.

In terms of copy protection, do you have to put the disc in every single time with the game copied to disk, or does it just ask you once a week/after 3 times/whatever?

I tend to play games in batches, so if I'm just playing GTA, then I can load that on.

As above does it need the DVD once you have loaded it as then I can give it back to my brother.

I've read it does require the disk, but I don't know how often. I'm in the same boat as you re: batches, despite having an elite, I'll probably only put 2 or 3 games "installed" at a time.

The downside for those of you thinking of chipping in and sharing the costs of buying a game with mates, and then, liberally passing around the disc(s) is that the disc still has to be the drive after copying in order to get it started. Copyright, and all that.

Yep, every time otherwise they would be saying "please borrow/rent games and cop them". It's no biggie though.

I been beta testing it for a few weeks and I have to say..............I don't mind it. You get used to it and certain things are now much easier like seeing your acheivements.

I'll download it when I get home tonight...

anyone else finding gow2 a bit slow to get online, it will go to multiplayer party lobby and be searching for teammates for ages! love it online just a pain trying to get on!
