Go to console settings, then into display. At that point you should be able to change your settings from 50hz to 60hz.

As Robchester stated , you need to go to the settings part of the dashboard and under setup there will be a picture of a TV , you can highlight that and select what setting you want for the TV . Most TV`s will let you play in 60Hz mode , even some pretty old ones had that function . It can also depend on the way the console is connected to the TV , if it is via HDMI then it will adjust the settings automatically . I am getting the feeling you are probably using a Scart connection or Component if it is asking you to change settings .

Hi XBOX peeps.
Just bought myself a 360 at the weekend, anybody here connect to live with the official wifi dongle? If so how good and reliable is the connection going to be through one interior wall? I'd buy one to check for myself, but at £40ish I'd rather not.

Xbox froze last night mid-cod 5 online game with no red lights.
Just the one green one for one controller.

Let it sit for five minutes and then tried it again and it wouldn't even get to the dasboard without freezing.

Rang Xbox up and I have to sent it off to be fixed. Lucky it brkoe when it did. Only a couple of weeks left on the warranty. Gutted though... I was owning in that match when it crashed.

Sinbad, I just plug it in, using a long cable. Wireless cuts the network speed so tend to find it lags in games.

I just use my laptop ethernet port, then share the connection. Never had lag issues

So, now its been out for a few weeks or so, whats everyones opionons on COD5 ? Ive got it but Im still addicted to COD4 despite really bad lag issues, me kids are giving it to me for christmas btw thats why Ive not been on it yet, and does anyone else have lag issues ? and if so how do you sort it ?

It's pretty good, the campaign is a bit run of the mill, feels not quite as polished and "wow" as CoD4 was, but that could just be because it's not as much of a leap or because we've all played dozens of WW2 FPS games. Oh, and Kiefer Sutherland gets annoying after about 3 seconds.

COOP works well and is enjoyable, but as with COD4 the meat of the game and the longevity is in the deathmatch modes on LIVE.

I can happily announce that it's just as sharp and crisp as 4, with some bloody good maps to play on. If you're expecting anything ground breaking then you're going to be disappointed, it's basically more of the same with different weapons and maps, but as I loved 4 I'm very happy with what we got.

SInce the xbox "upgrade" how do you feel the dashboard is.

I think they have overcomplicated it in an attempt to mimic the Wii cuddly avatars, prefered the old one. ALso I do not like the fact that the bottom half of the screen is a grey bar rather than whatever theme you are using. Ther may be a way to remove it but i cant find it.

Currently playing Lara Croft underworld, more of the same, easier than previous incarnations puzzle wise and somehow she is less attractive too cartoony, or i'm maybe getting fussy (but i dont think so)

Sinbad I use the wifi thingy, its downstairs and modem upstairs probably about 12 yards direct line but one floor, set of stairs and probably 3 walls with no problems.
