Thanks folks.

Funny thing is I had decided I wanted out of there and updated my CV about an hour before I got the email last Thursday. Already have 2 agencies sniffing round with 2 possible interviews.

Good thing is that I dont have to work my notice so am available immediately.

Getting the boot right before Christmas sucks bigtime because nobody's going to be looking at CVs until middle of January. Still good luck with finding the next opportunity.

Sorry to hear that, mate. Getting made redundant really sucks, but hopefully they've given you some redundancy cash to drink away over xmas.

Hope that you find something soon. Have you looked to see if there are any positions open at Apple?

Seriously, if I was made redundant now, I'd be looking to set up my own business, even if it wasn't in IT.
