Some sites have commented that this is a cut price SV built down to a price. This surprises me as the SV is pretty low budget already. It may be that the next SV is going to go up market with better components and this bike is needed to plug the gap.

I like the look of it, but as tim says, it doesn't look like the frame will hold up to much. At least there's something new after so long.

I like it. The frame looks light weight and if the power is there it will be great to play with. New paint, lose the can and trim the tail bits, clip ons and you are away. Rims look nicer than the current as well.
