Well I'm not going to tell a story, just try to let the photos speak for themselves. I should have taken more, but the roads were so good I just couldn't bring myself to stop

Y-C sees the funny side

While stopped at South Ballachulish Y-C says 'what's going on with your tyre there Mike?'

Gah! My brand new tyre!

While washing the bike today I could not find the hole, it has been worn level

Mouth of the River Oykel from the B9176

Calda house and Ardvreck Castle next to each other

Nearby falls

For Pete, I was so grateful to find this open in Lochinver, I did not begrudge the price! (206 miles on the odometer!). This did not get the prize for the most expensive petrol I bought though!

Stunning! (Tournaig)

Gairloch

The coast road to Applecross, evening time. I came around a bend and was greeted the the most lovely vista! It literally stopped me in my tracks! The bike stood on it's nose as I just thought '**** me, that's gorgeous!!' and stopped. I really don't think the photos do it any justice...

Sunset at Applecross....

What a view for breakfast! (Loch Carron)

My only two biking shots, Amarko on the Bealach na Ba

It's that castle again, from a different angle....

Thanks, took a few attempts and not a small amount of advice from amarko (I found them at the campsite worse luck! ) to get those.

Was a lovely meal break spent with you and Mandy, Quiff. Lucky you were in with the chippie owner eh?

LP, I'd have loved to have seen your face at that fuel stop . 206 miles? Must've been on fumes. Bet you weren't using the VTEC for the last 50 miles

Pete, miscalculated on 'the slab' on the way home to! After sitting at *cough* mph for 180 miles the light started flashing but next services were after my turning! Doh! I done that before as well on M6 south. Filled at 210 miles on the odo and put in 18 litres. That means I had over half a gallon left or around 25 miles. My bike truly is a tourer (sorry to those that saw my tail pipes).
