Looks great, nice one. |

Just so I'm sure about fitting it looks like all you've had to do is undo the nut, remove the old plate, put on new plate and put nut back on, even I can do that! I've got a silver swing arm as well and I just know I'll have to try and clean the nut up a little some how so that it matches. Will Autosol do the trick or is there anything better I can soak/clean it in whilst it's off? Last edited by dirtyred619; 02-07-12 at 08:01 PM. |

ermmm sort of. you have to take the spindle completely out so you can get the right side plate on as well.

![]() I was complimented on her today, given that she is nine years old and looks so clean and tidy, well until you look closely. One day when I am rich, she will have all of those shiny bits I crave! ![]() |

Right I'm with you now, you did say about taking the spindle out and using a bar or such to help locate the spindle when putting it back. Just put my crash bungs on the other day so sounds like the long engine mounting bolt that was removed will be just the do for the job. I'm assuming with the spindle out the wheel will essentially be off, there's no risk of putting the wheel out of alignment is there?

Group Buy Now Closed.
that's the last batch packaged up and ready to post out tomorrow. if you have missed the group buy and want a set of these can you please PM me as i have some left. thank you to all who have participated in this group buy and for your patience. i am more than overwhelmed by the amount of people who participated and i was not expecting to sell so many, in fact i thought it would fall flat on its face and for this reason i have been putting off getting these made for about the past year. a very big thank you to the generosity of some of the forum members (you know who you are) to which i'm very grateful ![]() special thanks: Extreme Engineering Fife Fabrications Kirkybhoy DarrenSV650S (if it were not for him this would never have happened) Berlin now what can i do next ![]() Lance |
