if someone were to lend me a curvy swingarm, wheel spindle and nut i could get it done a lot quicker.

use a bit of threadlock on the threads if you don't have threadlock then you can use a bit of superglue but you have to work quick with the superglue.

heat shrink... now there's a good idea! saves the messiness of a cable-tie, and less likely to snag. i'll have to try that out myself!

i have to admit i'm still in two minds between the tutoro and the scottoiler - used to have a cagiva raptor 650ie a few years ago (it was written off while filtering at 5mph when a car driver decided to turn into me) and fitted a scottoiler to that. it was pretty easy to fit, the unit hid under the seat, and splicing into the vacuum feed was easy enough, and it worked just fine. i'm leaning more toward to tutoro at the moment, though, if only because it's something i've not played with before...
