it was designed that way so there was no chance of fouling and once the scottoiler nib bracket is attached it sets the nib in the correct position. but if you really wanted then yes you could turn it round but it would be offset as the holes are offset. but i doubt there is enough room to attach the nib bracket and still come in contact with the sprocket. if you are going to turn it round you will need to add more threadlock to the bolts.

A update on these: I spent the last week using the straight edge & string method to align the wheels & taking the bike out for a test. Basically i was finding the bike tipping point wobbly at worse. I reset everything and set the chain slack as the manual states & trusted the marks on the new plates. All issues were gone. Maybe its just my bike & a slightly cupped front tyre but the bikes better now. Just shows you what a bit of PROPER engineering will do. Especially on a important part of the bike. Would we see the accident rate on this machine go down if these were oem?

Shame on you suzuki, shame on you.

Got mine done this weekend Seems the place that did my rear tyre last month put the axle in the wrong way and left the chain really loose.
I had a moment of worry when the plate didn't slide to the end like I expected it to, had to look in the service manual to see the axle was the wrong way round.

Followed a post on here on adjusting the clutch and it is what I'd imagine a new bike feels like. No more clunky gear changes.

Cheers Bibo, hope you have had the pints your deserve by now.

Check your chain stretch. According to mine yours is way further back.

Place that did my tyre said it was due to wearing of the sprockets, but they didn't look like the service manu
al says to replace. Ill have to look up checking stretch and getting the required tools.

What will a set of these cost me (without looking back through all the pages)

A Sticky with all the info on might be a good idea to save trawling through pages of chat to find what you want??

Bibio's adjuster plates rock! They are easy to install, look good and are far better engineered than the flimsy Suzuki plates. Eureka! no more using clamps and no more risk of mutilating the swing arm when turning the axle nut.
