Arrived Yesterday, many thanks. Fitted this morning. I was worried about removing the wheel, but the whole thing took about 20 mins, with removing the rear hugger and re-tensioning the chain/balancing the plates etc,.

They look amazing. They draw your eyes to them and not for being shabby brown, rusty crap, as they were before. Thanks again.

Fitted. They have almost no play in them, compared to the OEM and therefore are far more accurate in setting the tension equally.

Sorry about the out of focus shot, but it shows the difference.

may i ask?
why do people bother with these plates at all? seems like you could replace them with simple washers and adjust your chain looking at how much the adjuster bolt is sticking out. or is it not as simple as it looks?

Correct tool for the correct job. If you want to use washers then by all means fill yer boots, but this is by far the most accurate and safest way to adjust your rear wheel/chain. If Suzuki wanted it done a different way, I'm sure they would have done it, unfortunately for us, they used cheap metal which goes very soft over time, these beautiful replacements are cheaper than standard Suzuki replacements whilst being infinitely better!

nothing is perfect and there are a lot of people who use the bolt length as a guide.

ask anyone who has ever scratched their swingarm why these are a good idea.

my brackets were designed to be modular so you can hang other stuff from them. for instance, the scottoiler attachment keeps the oilier nib in the correct position at every adjustment and also keeps it out the way when taking the back wheel off. the other attachment is for my speedo drive kit (waiting on laser cutting) which has a downstand like the oilier one but a sensor is put in place as well as having an option for the oilier nib.

a lot of happy customers can't be wrong.

if these were in probolt's catalog they would be £50

hmm... i would have thought that your plates can scratch the swingarm just as well, but if they don't i guess it's an improvement.
i've seen the attachments too. those are neat.

i didn't mean to criticize your product, by the way. just curious.
