Bibios plates are made of better stuff so do not bend like the standard ones. The damage happens when the soft standard plates bend, then spin around whilst your undoing the spindle. Bibios don't bend, so don't spin around, they also happen to look a million times better.

![]() another thing that i failed to mention is that each plate is handed so only fits on it's side of the spindle. this gives a good fit to within .25-.5mm so reduces the slop giving a better accuracy. unlike the OEM plates which are around 2mm on the nut end. because of the reduced play they also had to be countersunk. it's still to early to tell but people should see a reduction in chain/sprocket wear due to the back wheel being in better alignment. |

Bibio, I have again take of my wheel today as part of cleaning the bike and really appreciated what a great little piece of engineering this was. Even the little touches like making the adjusters slightly different on one side so its impossible to mix them up, I thought was neat (this may have been same as the OEM one but can't remember as it was just crap). But the best part is how durable it is. No hint of damage despite any amount of battering it has taken and it cleans off so easily, more so than the other bits I was also cleaning. I was impressed enough to feel the need to write this message. Great product.

thanks Runako. i like reports of how my products stand the test of time.
no the OEM ones are not handed that are just stamped and galvanised pieces of dog poo made to look like they do the job. i have sold around 100 pairs of these to org members all over the world and had not one complaint, in fact all i have had is praise. strange thing is i tried to test the water over on svrider but none of them were interested (bar about 3) as they don't provide more horses. go figure. when in fact if they actually thought about it they would come to realise that they do indeed provide more horses as your chain is in better alignment than with the OEM ones but i was not telling them that. yes yanks are stupid. anyway their loss the org's gain. |
