thanks so far everyone.
polished SS, if the price is right then i could look into it. i know you can get dull one side and bright the other so it's a possibility. extra length for the scottoiler pipework. i have straight connectors and tubing lying around which i will supply for people wanting the scottoiler version. i will also supply the 8mm nut'n'bolt for attachment of the scottoiler bracket so you can attach the scottoiler bobbin bracket. *** for sake of ease every bracket will have a bottom marker view hole *** just not as big as the original. i will NOT supply the scottoiler bobbin bracket. but these are readily available form scottoiler and are always supplied in their universal kit. most people use this bracket if they have a scottoiler fitted anyway. |

Is 35 definitely the cut-off Lance? 25 is good going for a couple of days, however I'm thinking 35 might still be a push (happy to be proven wrong though!).

i'll do some sums and get back to everyone.
i don't mind being left with a few to sell on the bay or on svrider so it's getting near the possibility. as you can understand it's all about cash flow. |

nice offer but...
i would rather wait. its a case of offsetting the amount i have to receiving back again. in as short a time possible. so once they have been cut to getting posted is the time i need to put the cash back into my account. |

I like the cut of your jib, young man!
If it's of any use, I made a pair for my curvey because the std items are so flexible. I used 5mm stainless, but because the wheel spindle doesn't have a lot of spare length I counterbores them a little (1.5mm or so) to recess the head and nut into them. This actually looks better and I used a thin s/s washer under the nut which can be sacrificial to some extent, I'll replace it if/when it gets scrawped (technical term!). The bores are different (hence the markings), the brake side goes on the plain part of the spindle. 17mm I think, while the chain side is on the thread, 16mm. I made them a "decent" fit (you know what I mean). ![]() ![]()

that's a nice job embee.
i take it the 5mm is the recess hight from the bottom of the trough to the top edge before it falls away on the angle? |

ok i have done a few sums. from 25 people onwards i will start the ball rolling and do them for the original price of £12. the rest i can sell on the bay at an inflated price to offset the waiting time.
sooooo. i'll get a move on with this and hopefully you should all have them in your grubby paws within a month. |
