Default My SV650R project complete (gsxr/sv mash up)

So i've spent most of the winter and spring messing around with the sv and its finally complete........almost.

still to do is the mot on monday then the baffle in the exhaust can come out and the smaller plate and brake light can go on. Seat unit could do with a bit of a fiddle with too.

Its going to get used on the track the majority of the time but its a nice option to have getting it road legal ish.

mods list starting with a damage repairable k4 sv650 in blue

powder coated frame and swing arm matt black
powder coated wheels in gloss black, gsxr front wheel
gsxr 1000 k5 track fairings and seat unit modified to fit (thanks sarah)
bodywork and tank painted gloss black with suzuki/sv R decals
alloy subframe for gsxr seat unit and alloy clock bracket
gsxr 600 k4 radial front end
ohlins rear shock
custom length braided brake hoses
braking wavy rear disc
pazzo brake and clutch levers
gb moto rearsets
hrc rear brake reservoir
billet tank cap
LSL clip ons
r6 throttle tube with renthal soft race grips
m4 full system with titanium can
modded air box and pipercross filter
yoshi box ecu remap
renthal 47t rear sprocket and gold chain

and probably other stuff that i've forgot.

Look what you've done to that poor SV!!!

WOOOW springs to mind , thats one of the nicest SVr's i've seen. Cracking job mate. Had to look twice for the SV hidden beneath!!

that looks superb, if i had to pull out one thing perhaps the screen looks a bit tall in comparison to the rest of the bike, but... well... stunning is the word

Thanks for the comments people.

The screen is a zero gravity double bubble of a gsxr thou k5 so thats why it looks so tall. Agree it does look out of proportion but i'm a big lad and the standard screen was useless at offering any sort of wind protection.

The M4 can is not stamped up anywhere saying not for road use etc but i suspect mr plod would be upset with me as it is quite loud. They dont normally come with a baffle i've retro fitted one to please MOT man on monday. I bought it online from the states the website was called pipe city or similar???
It worked out cheaper buying it that way then getting it from the uk.
