So i've spent most of the winter and spring messing around with the sv and its finally complete........almost.
still to do is the mot on monday then the baffle in the exhaust can come out and the smaller plate and brake light can go on. Seat unit could do with a bit of a fiddle with too. Its going to get used on the track the majority of the time but its a nice option to have getting it road legal ish. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() mods list starting with a damage repairable k4 sv650 in blue powder coated frame and swing arm matt black powder coated wheels in gloss black, gsxr front wheel gsxr 1000 k5 track fairings and seat unit modified to fit (thanks sarah) bodywork and tank painted gloss black with suzuki/sv R decals alloy subframe for gsxr seat unit and alloy clock bracket gsxr 600 k4 radial front end ohlins rear shock custom length braided brake hoses braking wavy rear disc pazzo brake and clutch levers gb moto rearsets hrc rear brake reservoir billet tank cap LSL clip ons r6 throttle tube with renthal soft race grips m4 full system with titanium can modded air box and pipercross filter yoshi box ecu remap renthal 47t rear sprocket and gold chain and probably other stuff that i've forgot. ![]() |

that looks superb, if i had to pull out one thing perhaps the screen looks a bit tall in comparison to the rest of the bike, but... well... stunning is the word

Thanks for the comments people.
The screen is a zero gravity double bubble of a gsxr thou k5 so thats why it looks so tall. Agree it does look out of proportion but i'm a big lad and the standard screen was useless at offering any sort of wind protection. The M4 can is not stamped up anywhere saying not for road use etc but i suspect mr plod would be upset with me as it is quite loud. They dont normally come with a baffle i've retro fitted one to please MOT man on monday. I bought it online from the states the website was called pipe city or similar???
