well I tried to book this afternoon, but once engaged and the second time no answer, so will try again in the morning.

My plans are now all in place, taking me to Banbury, threw the peaks park, to the dales,up to the lakes, down to Preston, over to Grantham and then home, all in all 1,200-1,500 miles or so between friday morning and tuesday.

Looks all gravy. If it is OK I will meet you at Devils rather than trekking on the Mway to Forton as that is a boring, cold pain in the backside.

Heres the original route but if some people are worried about twisty roads we'll just meet up with yawl at Ambleside i just wanted to show my mate the breathtakin views at Honister. weve got ages yet to sort meeting points out.

Talking to my dad last night and he said that Hardknot and Wrynose passes are stilled closed due to ice.
