Yup, just got home and tucked up in bed. Was a fab day in the Landy, the only car I've been in where cornering is fun

The sun shone if a bit cold for you guys, and happy everyone is at Ambleside together.

You are a great bunch of truly Hardy Nutters, wish i had brought the bike yesterday, however, be careful today, weather as said, is pretty pukey.

I did send four of you texts at 7.30 this morning, that were coming back on our turf.
I have no idea how much snow is falling for those heading in other directions,

my excuse was a little more mundane, my shoulder and neck injury just cannot hold up, tried a token ride yesterday and made it 20 miles to penrith and was in such pain i had to turn back home

cant hold the weight of the helmet and look over shoulders were a strict OUCH. cant risk doing anymore damamge as i want to be fit for the 23rd may when im off to the pico's de europa in spain and then andorra , the pyrenees , and the south of france.

The Yorkies are home. Good weekend.

Trip back was fkin freezing. Took half an hour to do the last 500 yards because it was packed snow/ice. Maria enjoyed the experience of directing traffic around me and the bike though!

Got home safe around 1300.

Had to leave the bike at the bottom of the lane as it was covered in ice and I couldn't get up the hill.

Came back with the Land Rover and trailer and brought it up that way.

Brilliant weekend.

Thanks to everyone involved in organizing it and thanks to everyone who attended for making it a cracking weekend.

To those who didn't make it, I hope you/ your bikes/ the weather gets better.

See you all soon (hopefully).
