Start it at Rivvy barn then get to slaidburn and do this from there, few might be familiar with the first bit, stop at top of hill head down then AFAIK the turning off the A65 is actually the first part of the AR? Correct me if i'm wrong....

I'm up for this as well, had a word with the missus and it's ok.
Unsure as to whether I can afford to stay over night but ok for the ride

i do the A65 from skipton to Kendal every other weekend and stop for a burger at devils, i just thought it would be nice to do most of the lakes instead its much more impressive than the dales and we'd have to shorten the lakes run to fit that in mate, i think its best to get to the lakes as quick as possible remmember the clocks go forwards soon so it'l be getting dark around 5

Errrrr clocks go back mate.

We could just get up earlier to fit in the complete run. It's a fair way to go for the Borderers for a 2 hour ride (80 ish miles) round the lakes. We gonna have to ride in the dark at some point, but I agree that an organised ride should be competed in daylight.

er ya back thats what i mean, im just thinking of the more novice riders that are coming and those traveling up from the Mids i know its more boring traveling up the motorway but it is quicker i recon what Stewie says is a better meeting point as Rivvy will add on an extra hour and theres nothing much to look at there, what do you guys think
