any one made turbo cider

I want to make something a bit more funky. Ive got two gallons worth of normal cider bottled up... what else can i try?

Only if you're distilling it after, spuds are way harder than sugar to get a decent yield of alcohol out and you get loads more "tails" out of the still from complex alcahols that taste really harsh. Or so I read somewhere.

how about atomic lemon , iv not brew it yet but think ill be trying it next, but it does take a long time ferment.


700g Table Sugar
70g T**co Sweetener
250ml Jif Lemon juice
250ml jif Lime juice
2 fresh lemons
2 fresh limes
Youngs Cider Yeast


how to .......


Boil 2L water in a pot and dissolve sugar and sweetners.
Add a crushed cam. tablet and stir in juices.
Allow it to cool and then pour into clean D.J.
Cut (scrubbed) lemon and limes into 4 pieces and stuff into D.J.
Top up with cold water and add cider yeast.
After 15-20 mins give it a good shake.
Insert air lock and ferment at 20C.For at least 20 days.

After 2 days give it a good shake.
Day 20. rack to clean D.J.
1-2 more weeks(should be clear by then) bottle with 1/2tsp primer to each bottle.
