My bottled cider is sitting in the fridge... that is OK right?

![]() As long as the secondary fermentation has stopped, yes - it'll be too cold for the yeast in the fridge and you'll probably kill it. Which is a good thing if it's fizzy enough, but if not then the fridge is the wrong place. |

You will have a respectable alcohol content in there and it will be a bit fizzy but I think you should have left it out the fridge. Take it out. Fermentation will have been non existent in the fridge, it might well start again when you take it out. Usually cold means that yeast won't do the business but it probably won't have killed it - unlikely in the fridge I guess. Take it out the fridge and with a bit of luck you'll be going again as soon as the cider warms up. Don't run the hot tap on it!!!

You won'y kill the yeast in a fridge. I keep my fresh yeast in out fridge and it still grows enough to make a new brew!

Mine has slowed down now, the airlock goes a couple of times a minute. Bottles came today, and the bench capper. Just need caps now, I hope they come tomorrow. It smells quite strong
