i'm pretty sure it wont look that bad against the chrome as when I get the fairing parts resprayed i'm thinking of going for a black base anyway so should all tie in nicely.

yeah might have a look into that, i wouldn't be doing the top though as i've got a carbon fibre cover on it already but might have a go at the rest of it.

It's not 'chrome' just polished alloy.looks just as good though!

dude, this job is absolutely amazin!!
who ever would have known that the normal frame u get with your bike could be polished to chrome haha!!
the phrase "keep er shiny side up" definately applies for you now!!

thanks to all the replies again!
Just in the process of retaping all the wiring loom and also polishing the top yoke so hopefully i'll have some more photos tonight.
Like i said yesterday though it'll be an earlier night tonight hopefully as up at 4.30 in the morning so that we can get to cadwell for the superbikes.

Awesome times, hopefully the top yoke polishes up as well as the rest of the bike!!

And have a good time at the BSB at cadwell, should be excellent!!
