See how it goes though!
Yeah tomorrow should be awesome, just hoping the rain holds off but then again the rain always makes for a good race!!

haha yes, indeed, i hope it holds off for ya, wet races are interesting, but races in the sunshine, at full pace, is just better.

had my first experience of live racing at Donington for the Moto GP this year and it was just surreal!!

At least the race isn't in Northern Ireland, that means you have a slim chance of the rain holding off, if it was over here you wold be plain screwed haha.

RIGHT THEN!
TODAYS PROGRESS THEN!
FIRST OFF DECIDED TO TAKE THE ADVICE OFF OF THIS THREAD AND POLISH UP THE TOP YOKE

OH YEAH AND I BOUGHT A NEW TOY FROM B & Q AS WE HAVE COME ACROSS A FEW BITS ON THE FRAME ETC. WHERE THE NORMAL DRILL WONT GET IN

I'VE RE TAPED ALL THE WIRING LOOM AND TIDIED IT UP A BIT AND THEN BASICALLY STARTED RE RUNNING THAT ON THE BIKE AND PUTTING A FEW BITS BACK ON AFTER RUNNING THROUGH THE DISHWASHER AND CLEANING OFF WITH GUNK AND BACK TO BLACK

ALSO POLISHED UP THE HEEL PLATES, BECAUSE I COULD!!!

SO BASICALLY THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE NOW

I'M QUITE HAPPY WITH HOW EVERYTHING IS TURNING OUT, I DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO BE QUITE AS EFFECTIVE AS IT HAS BEEN.
ONE QUESTION THOUGH WHILE EVERYONE'S READING THIS, DOES ANYBODY KNOW A GOOD PLACE FOR POWDER COATING NEAR TO CHESTERFIELD, DERBYSHIRE AS CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANYWHERE.

Gotta say, I've now had enough of bikes (solely cos I'm bitter that I can't afford to race anymore & I'm sick of the "know it all" armchair idiots). But as much as I'm trying to make my break from them......... I keep coming back to this thread cos I love what you're doing with this!
Did the frame & swingarm on my old road 'Blade a few years ago & was impressed with how it came up.... but the standard of your work, alll I can do is.............
Brilliant job bloke!!

Recently asked my old paintjob man about the powder coating. He says he's heard cracking reports about a company who advertise in the back of MCN, if this helps?
