Black defo,
Black and chrome (polished metal) look mint
Plus most of the engine is already black would it be possible to paint the rest or is that silly?

as requested a few more pictures
not a huge amount of progress but you can see the expansion bottle for the coolant, coils and a bit more wiring have gone back on
for everyone that responds i am definitely considering black so how about chameleon paint in black with the red flip??

If I may offer my unqualified opinion on the paint, you need something simple, and you need contrast. Not too shiny or stand-out. Maybe a brave choice, but a matte or satin black would contrast brilliantly with the bling stuff, of which there is a lot. I guess it depends on the ultimate goal, what I really hope you don't do is go for some horrible metal-flake fairground-ride type paint-job.

to agree with sinbad I think thats why the black is such a good colour for the body work. Purely because black is bland it puts focus on the polished metal, if you make the paint a feature then it'll take away from the fantastic job you've done with that polishing.

White! White is the new Black, but then your wheels are gold, so wouldn't go.
