The best way to get into those bits is with polish attachments for a dremel

so your defo going for the black and chrome effect then? ie if it aint chrome its black?

I purposefully haven't treated the headlight brackets with anything, and purposefully haven't had it covered since we did the swap, apart from sheeting over it and myself on sunday while rewiring the heated grips back in to the loom - works as it did.

So, if the weather's fine, I'll take pics of before, and then give a polish with Mer and take a couple of after pics, so you can see what two weeks of varied weather are likely to do.

i h\ve just started polishing my rear sets found that using paint striper then just polish was way quicker than sanding

damn , never seen this thread before , good work there Liam , I polished the rims on a KTM supermoto I owned a few years ago and that put me off polishing forever , you sir , are Superhuman .

PS . Did you find the Dremel a bit too fast and aggressive on bared aluminium ?

Yes it did seem a bit too much but not sure i have the right bit for it though, think i need advice on dremel bits.
