2pac = solvent paint. Try to inhale as little as possible liam, I'm sure you're aware of the dangers. Lacquers the worst bit.

oh right, yeah i am aware it's nasty stuff fortunately my spraying skills are not by any means good enough for the painting of the bike, so i have a good friend who is a professional car sprayer with all the ovens and stuff so he is doing it for me!! and all for just £40!!!! good to have mates in the right places!! have you done them yourself then??

I've done part of a car once and swore never to do it it again. Wouldn't mind your mate's number!

I tell you what i will get mine done post the pictures on here see what you think, and i will ask him if he is prepared to give out his number as he is doing this for me on the side. but he is really good he did my mates wheels on his car and put 15 layers of lacquer on them they shone like nothing i have ever seen i will see if i have a photo to show you!!

I was thinking that most probably the bike would look much nicer having all those polished bits without the front fairing. You could keep the clip-ons but would have to change the lights to a single round headlight in chrome from a Bandit maybe or two bug-eyes lifted of a Triumph Street triple. How does that sound?

it does sound nice, but i am a fairing man i just prefer the look of them but wait and see the outcome will be brilliant!!
