I also polished my rear sprocket which started to rust in a week or so. Had to spray it at the end. Remember that stock one's metal not aluminum....

Aluminium is a metal too you know

You can get sprockets chromed, or find someone who makes them in stainless.

What's going to happen when you start riding the bike again?

Won't take long to go all pear shaped again, will it?

Why? Bit of WD40 after a ride is not a massive problem?

The man clearly has the time and effort to do it.

I will only be riding it in the dry, I will have another for the wet weather (soon to replace the scooter), so it doesn't worry me. Also once its done the actual cleaning doesn't take all that long and in comparison is very easy, And as plowsie said wd-40 will go a long way!!

I take note that it will not be to everybody's taste but it is each to there own!! If some people like it then i am happy.

As with regard to the snowplough and chain guard can anybody recomend a good tail tidy and hugger?? Didn't think you could fit the tail tidys to the curvey???

Re-spray is going to take place before Christmas just in talks with my spraying man at the minute so shouldn't be long now!!
