Thanks guys, your all great! just been to bike shop and got some trick bits and looking to get some callipers of evilgay or something later!

Daninplymouth is selling what I guess are gsxr calipers + the sv mounting plate in the for sale section. Not sure if they're a good price but might be worth a look.

Agree. You can get brand new s/s braided lines for £45 and second hand sv calipers for around £40 which after a fresh service perform great. I had a lot of trust in my old curvys brakes after I'd got them how I like them.

If you're after SV calipers I'll have a set soon for sale. They won't have any slides, but the seals will be nearly new. I bought a set of calipers from ebay because I didn't have the time to strip mine down properly as I need the bike daily. I'm planning on stripping+overhauling the old ones to sell in the next few days - I'm just lazy and haven't done it yet

i bought a set of reconditioned ones of evilgay last night for £60 with new pistons and seals and pads so quite happy about that, but got to wait ages as they are coming via royal (we are on strike) mail!!!!! but will bare yours in mind for spares!

also bought a nice new chain and sprockets set!! could anyone tell me what size the nut is on the front sprocket and where i could get a cheap rivet/chain breaker???

32mm If I recall correctly. think people on here go to bandcexpress(.co.uk?), dunno if if it'd be false economy buying a cheap rivetter, can't really comment I borrow my mates
