I wouldn't buy a cheap rivetter. I'd use a G clamp and an 8mm spanner to put a spring clip on it and ride it to someone with the proper tool.

i think i am going to buy a proper one tbh as i want to do all chain changes myself. I am not paying one of the dealers to look at it for 90 minutes scratch there **** change it in 10 minutes and charge me £100 for the privilege!!!

plus at least i know it will be done correctly.

I bought one off ebay for about £37 plenty of different bits for different sized chains and it wasn't a Micky mouse type one.

Peened the rivet over good and proper

there is a heavy duty one at my local bike shop for £50 which is what they use, but can't remember the name??

Well got back from work today and was greeted by these that had come through the post

and hopefully the calipers are coming tomorrow so will have them to fit this weekend, also meeting with my sprayer this weekend to sort a paint date!!! so excited
