You chain adjuster (where the spindle goes through) plates are not bling enough to match your swing arm, well thats what it looks like from the photo.

You need some lovely stainless steel ones, like wot I got

I'm sure you can "acquire" a plank from somewhere handy to use as a ramp, if nothing else comes to hand.

Just be careful with wet planks though , tyres slip off those things like a Monkey in roller skates on a greased mirror , 3 people will get that out , 2 grabbing the front either side and one on the rear ..... you could go less and risk back injury or dropping it , or go more and hoof it out safely and in a quick fashion ...... make them polish their own hand marks off afterwards

Eyup mate!

I would go for some sort of boarding (scaffold?) and cover it with roofing felt for grip - there's some in our shed.

I'm hoping to be over that way some time towards the end of this month, or beginning of the December.

I presume you won't want it out before then? Or are you test driving it?

The polished headlight brackets are still 'A' OK, and still haven't had any treatment.

thats your mistake right there mate.
the mrs finds only if she asks how it came out, re-plant the bush afterwards and turn over what you ride it up. job done and no-one knows.

ok bud come round for coffee are you still having paint?? it wont be going anywhere while there is salt on roads that's for sure!! Not sure, think i will get proper loading ramp they aren't expensive and they have the correct surface for motorcycles but nice idea mate!!

Good to here about the headlight brackets that means mine might stand up to the odd bad weather.
