small polishing kit and little elbow grease mate is all that's needed.
also if you want the blue effect that you get on some after market end cans a light machine oil applied on the pipes run engine to get pipes hot, then let them cool repeat a couple of times and you get that effect. cool but just be careful how much oil you put on.

if your missus wants to go on the back but wants to hold on to somthing and you have removed the grab rail you can just get one of those waist belts with the handles on it thats what im going to do, just incase that was a point over looked

right then got together with my painter yesterday, and discovered that the paint process for flip paint is much more involved than normal metallic this involves
  1. repair any damage to plastics and tank
  2. priming the plastics with etch primer and metals with normal primer
  3. then first layer of colour and bake
  4. second layer of colour and bake
  5. third layer of colour and bake
  6. forth and final layer of paint and bake
  7. then lacquar of upto 8 coats 10 on tank
  8. baked between each coat

Because of this the paint process is longer and more involved than thought and the use of the oven is a must!!

so final price all done and completed is more like £300 rather than first thought.

So i am speaking to another good friend of mine that is a car dealer/mechanic he is speaking to his contacts and hopefully (so he says) halving the quote by using the oven at the same time as other work so we don't pay for the cost of baking and that is most of the cost!!!

so i will keep you all upto date as soon as i know. worst case is i will have to go for first quote but i am tight so want to avoid it.

Cheers
Liam

Pillion pals love handles.

Great bit of kit for £10 Jenn holds on to the one I got her well in excess of 3 figures no problems.

Thought they were for kids??

Been taking my eldest son(now nine)on the back since he was six & in that time he used the love handles, but since summer he thinks he's to grown up/experienced now & does'nt want to use them anymore.

Ive now fit a renntec grabrail to the rr for him now which he's much happier with........shame my wallet is'nt!!
